The last Ice Age pushed significant amounts of gravel and stones ahead of it, and deposited it to be a moraine by all of Vestfold, generally known as Vestfoldraet. Raet meets the ocean at Mølen, where by the moraine sinks in the sea. Its experience with the Skagerrak ocean waves has uncovered and polished the large round stone ground for centuries
